What We Can Do

We are at an age where everything – and absolutely anything is possible, if you have enough faith and a healthy dose of nerve and guts. We are young and free. We are privileged and we are lucky. Almost anything we need, we could get with just one touch of a button, or one swipe of a finger. We are capable of doing what our predecessors would consider as "miraculous". We have reached that era –of progress and convenience.

1984 by George Orwell

There is something timelessly interesting in anything that foretells the future. That sense of knowledge beyond the current time gives any prediction an air of mysticism, as well as dread for those who will expect the worst. The subjects of any prediction will always remember the bad over the good, for they may carve to their heads the possibility of them dying while falling down a cliff instead of them being able to climb a mountain. But Nineteen Eighty-Four makes no reservations for the good. Humanity will fall down the cliff, and humanity remembered.

Science and The Gods

The world today is the world of today because of the science of yesterday.

Taking a look around there will always be at the very least, one thing that came to be because of the rise of science. Computers, electric fans, cell phones, distilled water, guitars, vitamins and medicines all exist because science has given man an avenue to make them. Democracies have been improved, poverty has been reduced, histories have been recalled and children with ADHD have been treated all because various social sciences have identified problems, formulated hypotheses, enacted experiments and arrived at conclusions to solve those given problems.

How To Be A Zuckerberg

We all have the desire to be a Mark Zuckerberg some day. Most of us dream big, dreams that are very high and are usually difficult to reach. It is very easy to say things like, “I am gonna be the CEO of this company someday,” “I am gonna be one of the most sought-after doctor someday,” “I am gonna be the biggest entrepreneur in the Philippines someday.”

Someday. What will do you if that certain day has arrived, but still you don’t have the guns and the target to shoot?

I'm Just Saying, Being The Best

Relationships are supposed to last forever right? So here's what I realized. I don't really care if you disagree with me, it's just too awesome just wanna share it.

Why enter a relationship with a girl or a boy if you're not willing to keep it forever? I mean, entering into a committment is not real when you're thinking that there's a possible expiration date for the both of you. (How I Met Your Mother inspired)
